Wow. STATE OF PRIDE made its global streaming premiere this morning. It was important to our team that this film is accessible to everyone, so I'm excited to share that you can watch it for free, worldwide, at yt.be/stateofpride. . I have so many emotions going on today, but the most powerful is gratitude - for all the LGBTQ+ people across the country who opened their hearts and homes to share their stories, for the incredible team of LGBTQ+ leaders and allies who made this project possible, and for all of YOU for sharing so much love and support. I love our community and this really means the world to me. . As I reflect on this documentary and what I hope its impact will be, I want to share something I said during a recent interview with @outmagazine: We frequently talk about being part of the LGBTQ+ community, but often forget the meaning of the word. It’s so important to respect, listen, and learn from LGBTQ+ people who have different perspectives and life experiences. I encourage all of us to be intentional this Pride season in getting to know people with different backgrounds, identities, and experiences within our own community. These personal connections and conversations can help all of us continue to organically learn how to be a more effective ally to one another. . Relationships are all about support! We have both been through some difficult challenges over the last 8 years, and one thing that has always helped us get through is our ability to support each other when times are tough. Sometimes it can be the subtle things that can really make a difference, like when Luke listens to Craig talk about frustrations at work (even though he still doesn’t fully understand what he does 😆) or when Craig gives Luke a little shoulder massage when he is stressed to help him refocus on what’s important. It’s always reassuring to know that someone is there for you, backing your corner when you need it the most. Our photo for today is from the gardens surrounding Humayun's tomb, in New Delhi.
