Meet Daddy Kaimo, Ikaika, and their adorable little beach baby (who just celebrated his first birthday 🥳)! ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ This family lives in beautiful Kauai, which is one of the islands of Hawaii. 🏝🌞 Kaimo is their son's biological father, and has raised him since birth. 🌈 💕 ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Kaimo recalled a funny family moment a few days ago: "One evening recently when I was cooking dinner, my partner was next to me, and my son playing in his tent with his toys. All of the sudden it got really quiet...I turned around to see my son on my phone with the camera open taking pictures and videos of himself! It was the video I posted today actually!” 🤣📲⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ The family also likes to get out and enjoy their beautiful surroundings when possible. 🪁 ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Kaimo says, "We love to go to the beach, travel, and hike. [Our son] seems to find enjoyment in being outdoors. Which is great, considering we live in Hawaii!"⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Kaimo continued, "The most surprising part of fatherhood is probably the response from the public...seeing two men raising a little boy. Some people love it and absolutely love us. Then there are some that obviously have their negative under-the-lip judgements, which is cool too. We really don't care!" 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Kaimo also noted that, "My partner is the greatest step parent I could ask for...I'm so thankful I get to raise my son with someone I can count on and trust wholeheartedly." ❤️👨‍👨‍👦⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Thanks @kingkaimo for sharing your story! Meet Reece, Joe, and their three energetic little ones! 💫👶👯‍♀️⁣ ⁣ The family lives in Cornwall. 🇬🇧 Reece and Joe have been fathers for three years now, and recall being matched with their current children before they were even approved as adoptive parents! 😱⁣ ⁣ Daddy Reece remembers: "The day we were coming home with the children our car broke down, so we had to put all of the children's belongings — AND our suitcases — into a tiny taxi cab to take us home!" 🤦‍♂️🚖⁣ ⁣ "Our children are now seven, six, and four. As a family we enjoy going on walks and watching good films together. We enjoy going to the beaches near our home and taking the dogs for a run." 🐕 🏃 ⁣ ⁣ Excitingly, daddies Reece and Joe recently launched their own line of furniture paint! 🥳 The kids are even working on their own shades for the children's line! 😍

Single dad Joseph is this week’s #GWKFridayFollow! 🏳️‍🌈🇨🇦 Joseph became a dad through surrogacy to his twin daughters. 👨‍👧‍👧 They were born in November 2018 and he's raising them as a single dad alongside his incredible tribe of family and friends.⁣ 💕🌈 ⁣ Joseph began sharing his fatherhood journey through Instagram 📸 to help others who wanted to become single dads through surrogacy. "There are many great mom bloggers out there, but there wasn't much on dads, so I use this platform to share my experiences and to get help when I'm stuck on something." 💪🏡⁣ ⁣ The dad of two also found Instagram to be helpful when he was unable to bring his children home to Canada after doing his surrogacy journey abroad.
