Five years ago, Andrew and Ariel met and fell in love at Tel Aviv’s Pride 🇮🇱.🌈❤️ Andrew, a New Yorker, met Ariel from Israel, and at first, the couple continued their relationship long distance. Ariel’s daughter could not have been more welcoming to Andrew.👨‍👨‍👧✨ • The couple were married in 2015, and with his daughter’s blessing, Ariel moved to NYC. The dads visit their daughter when they can, and recently enjoyed the LGBT families picnic in Tel Aviv where they met other gay dads and their kids.🙌👨‍👧🙌👨‍👨‍👦‍👦🙌👨‍👨‍👧 • Their daughter will be visiting them for the rest of the summer and will attend the Ramah Nyack day camp for the 4th year in the row, which she loves. “We’ll be finishing the summer with a cruise to Bermuda with my parents and sister’s family,” shared Andrew. “Everyone is super excited to have her here, especially my sister’s three kids!”🥰

Inclusion. Equality. Human Rights. Peace. . Last night, I had the opportunity to kick off World Pride in New York City learning from and exchanging ideas with advocates on the forefront of trans inclusion, immigration equality, LGBTQ+ storytelling for social change, cross-cultural community building, and HIV stigma prevention and risk reduction. All of the speakers and organizations represented at the #LoveTravels event share the same goal of cultivating inclusion, equality, human rights, and peace around the world. . @lavernecox spoke about the importance of guiding difficult conversations with love, empathy, and kindness to more effectively steer people to allyship. . @karamo led a conversation about the importance of seeking out different perspectives in cross-cultural community and coalition building. . The leaders of Immigration Equality and VideoOut shared their respective missions to: 1) Protect the basic dignity of all human beings, regardless of national origin, and 2) Encourage everyone to own the power in their story to advance the ripple waves of visibility and acceptance. . I am inspired every day by leaders who use their talents, passions, and gifts to identify new opportunities to serve others and make the world better. Thank you, @marriottintl, for hosting us for such an inspiring evening and for providing the grants and resources to make meaningful progress on our shared goal of promoting the values of Pride all year long. Uwaga! Szokująca wiadomość! Razem chwali bogaczy! 😲 Kilkunastu amerykańskich miliarderów napisało list otwarty do polityków. Apelują, by w końcu podniesiono im podatki. Uważają bowiem, że państwo musi zwiększyć wpływy z podatków, aby skutecznie walczyć z kryzysem klimatycznym i naprawić ochronę zdrowia. Nie chcą jednak, by wyższe podatki dotknęły pracującej większości. Dlatego mają prostą propozycję: podatek majątkowy od wielkich fortun. 💰 List podpisali między innymi postrach polskiej prawicy George Soros, reżyserka Abigail Disney i współzałożyciel Facebooka Chris Hughes. Mówią wprost: jesteśmy członkami wąskiej, uprzywilejowanej elity. Macie prawo wymagać, byśmy zaczęli dzielić się swoim bogactwem. Takie głosy wśród miliarderów to rzadkość. Każdego roku korporacje i bogacze wydają mnóstwo pieniędzy, by lobbować przeciwko uczciwym podatkom. Chcą mnożyć swój kapitał w nieskończoność, a nam zostawić okruszki. Polski system podatkowy też wymaga naprawy. Jest regresywny – czyli najzamożniejsi obywatele mogą płacić proporcjonalnie dużo niższe podatki niż ubożsi Polacy i Polki. Mamy raj podatkowy dla bogaczy, za to dla większości społeczeństwa żenująco niską kwotę wolną. Tak nie musi być. Chcemy, by polskie podatki w końcu były uczciwe i sprawiedliwe. System trzeba gruntownie przebudować. 🇵🇱 Powiedzcie: co Wy sądzicie o wprowadzeniu w Polsce i Europie podatku majątkowego?
