⁣ Meet dad Max and his three awesome boys! 🥰🌈💕⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Max was born in Russia and raised in Ukraine. He then lived in Greece and Poland before settling down in Phoenix, Arizona. 🤯🗺🌵 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Max became a father through a previous marriage and now co-parents with his ex-wife. He said: "Living in Ukraine (a very homophobic country) and being a bishop in the Mormon Church, I've always denied being gay. At age 34, I realized that I have to be myself and to not live someone else's life. After 12 years of marriage, I came out to my wife and my kids. She was very supportive and now we're best friends."⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The family spends a lot of time together, and they really love traveling! ✈️ 🚙 The family has visited 45+ countries, and they try to take a few new trips every year. Max said: "Every time I travel with them, there's something magical about seeing things through a child's eyes."⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ "I think that fathering gives structure and purpose to life in a way that is a relief, in a world where there are few easy answers. When you love your kids, being a good dad comes first...Being a dad helps me to be a better guy than I ever thought I could be. Elliot was hired to style the wigs, and the rest is history! 💁‍♀️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ "We met to collaborate on that project and then became inseparable," Elliot shared. Dads Joe and Angel live in San Antonio, Texas, with their three boys. 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨❤️👶⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Soon after the pair got married, they immediately wanted to start a family, and they decided on a foster-to-adoption plan. 🌈💕⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ "We considered a surrogate or private adoption, but after volunteering at a foster event and seeing how many children needed homes, we decided to foster and adopt. We fostered our boys for three years before we were finally able to adopt them."⁣ 🥰🥰🥰⁣ ⁣⁣ The dads continued: "Initially we decided to foster only one child. We had our oldest for a year when he had to leave our home. We were devastated and about to give up. Our foster agency called us to tell us about a four-year-old boy that needed a home for the weekend. That weekend turned into his forever home." 🏡💕🏳️‍🌈⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The dream continued: "After six months our agency called us again and told us that our four-year-old had a brother and asked if we could take him also. We couldn't say no, so he came to our home. Another six months passed and our agency called again to inform us that our first child needed a home again. Again, we couldn't say no to the first child we had fallen in love with." 😍🥰😭⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As a family, they enjoy swimming and riding bikes. 🏊‍♂️ 🚲 They also enjoy taking trips, hiking, and exploring new places. 🥾✈️ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ "Before we became fathers we never imagined how much we could love a child that was not biologically ours. I know I've been MIA for the past month and a half but tbh this whole thing has been really hard on me. I know has been a struggle for most everyone. One thing I've learned is that just because we're in isolation it does NOT mean that we're alone. We really are in this together! If you're struggling w/ depression and you've been feeling down and worthless know that I have been too. In school, in sports and in life I've always hated asking for help because I've wanted to seem strong, brave, tough, self-assured, etc but I've realized that sometimes you just need help and when you do you need to ask for it. It's literally what friends are for. Swallow your pride and text a friend saying "I'm feeling really down, can you talk?" It will help. I'm thankful for my friends and all of you for being my support system; I'm thankful for the people who have used this time to create fun, funny content that has made me laugh and offered levity amidst the darkness; I'm thankful for my health and, most especially, I'm thankful for my family. We had some serious scares this past month and it's put into perspective, more than ever before, the importance of family. My 9-month-old nephew, Bodhi, had a bad cough/ fever and started having trouble breathing. He ended up being flight for life'd to Denver Children's Hospital to be put on a respirator and spent a week in the ICU. Shortly after he returned home my 4-year-old niece, Bobbie, fell ill and had to be rushed to the same hospital to undergo two emergency surgeries. They're both finally home again and recovering! I'm incredibly thankful and forever grateful to our healthcare workers on the front line of this pandemic. I can't show my gratitude enough but, in an effort to help out, I've decided to join Cameo to make personalized videos for anybody who wants one w/ 100% of my proceeds going to #FirstRespondersFirst to raise money for the doctors & nurses risking their lives to save others. Niemal w tej samej chwili, w której Sejm zaczyna zajmować się projektem karania więzieniem za edukację seksualną, odbieram od kuriera przesyłkę z wydaną przez @owimpuls książką, na którą czekałem jak na mało co. Marzanna Pogorzelska i Paweł Rudnicki - to, co zrobiliście jako autorzy, jest wybitne. I jest teraz potrzebne bardziej niż bardzo. Dziękuję jednocześnie za propozycję rekomendacji na okładkę, a świadomość, że znalazłem się wśród osób tak zasłużonych dla walki o prawa człowieka - @marta__abramowicz, @robertbiedron, @adbodnar i @draginja_nadazdin - dodatkowo daje mi wielkie poczucie siły.
