Dads Robert and Scott live in Ipswich, England, with their son. 😍☺️ Robert adopted their son when he was only a year old, he says that adoption was always the plan for him. He shared, "I was surprised how smoothly the adoption process went, given gay adoption wasn't all that common ten years ago. I was very lucky." 😌🌈 "I will always remember the first day meeting my son at his foster parents' and him crawling straight up to me and sitting on my lap. It felt so natural, so quickly." 😍😍😍 Robert met Scott shortly after their son was adopted, and then got married a few years later. Our kids are the best things that have ever happened to us. The adoption process is emotional, lean on each other and keep your communication open and honest." 😌 "It's important to be visible and continue to 'normalize' our families. They describe the process as being such a wonderful experience. 💕☺️😍 As a family they love to do house projects together, and working on their home is a fun group activity which they all love! 😄💫 Another favorite thing to do is go swimming. 🏊♂️ 🐠 "The most surprising thing about fatherhood has been how easily and quickly we fell into paternal modes!” 👶🍼 The dads also love to chat: "We love sharing information about our journey to fatherhood, and we never shy away from answering any questions.
