Today, they’re the proud dads of Tyler and Jason, both adopted in 2017. For one adoption finalization they packed the courtroom to capacity; the other was post-Hurricane Harvey and with the courtroom damaged, it ended up being just the four of them in a smaller building. Wyświetl ten post na Instagramie. END LGBTQI PERSECUTION IN TANZANIA On the 29th of October, Tanzanian governor Paul Makonda announced a nation-wide purge of LGBTQI people. Since then, 10 men have been arrested more than 5.000 individuals have been reported to the police. Although Tanzania's foreign ministry said that the governor's actions did not represent the government's stance, the repercussions of the statement remain unclear. Furthermore, the country has been witnessing a crackdown of health services such as HIV/Aids clinics, and NGOs accused of using them to promote gay sex. We call on #Tanzania’s authorities to review the country’s discriminatory practices, and reject the German and British colonial legislation that has forced the Tanzanian #LGBTQI community to live in hiding and fear.
