Together since 2004, and married in 2011👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨, Garrett and Leon 🇦🇺 began their journey to fatherhood by pursuing surrogacy. "After hurdles including international law changes, finances, new restrictions, earthquakes, and canceled flights, we decided to look into adoption." It was a three year journey for the husbands, from their first official seminar to the placement of their little man. 👨🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻➡️👨‍👨‍👦 • From their experience, they're keen to share their insight with others. "Know your options, educate yourselves on local laws and what is involved. Surrogacy is not legal in our home state for gay or single men, and international options for us was a while other can of worms. While adoption is legal in Australia it’s a much longer process than most countries and involves much more red tape." Having gone through the process, the dads now see the "red tape" as a positive aspect and it ultimately helped prepare them for life as parents. "And most importantly, don't give up!"🙌❤️🏳️‍🌈👨‍👨‍👦 • For these Aussie fathers, hugs for no reason are the BEST! "Nothing brings a grown man to his knees like toddler hugs... Meet dads Jonathan and Clayton, or as they're lovingly known, Daddies Jonny and Claytie. They live in Richardson, TX, with their awesomely creative daughter! 👨‍👨‍👧🌵🏠 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ They pair always wanted to be dads, and realized this dream through adoption. "There is no owner's manual or book that explains parenting, let alone the adoption process!" 📚🤷‍♂️ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As a family they like to spend a ton of time outdoors! 🌞🌱🌈 "We live in the front yard. It's a good southern front porch way of growing up, just made fabulous with princess dresses, endless makeup, and a cold 'ranch water'🍹.”⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ "The most surprising part of fatherhood is that blood and DNA don't have 💩 on who or what you exist to become. Meet dads Matthew and Scott! They live in Seattle, WA, with their two sons. 👨‍👨‍👦‍👦💕🏡 Matthew is also our friend from @familyequality. 😉🥰⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The two have been together since 2003 and became parents through a foster-to-adopt process about six years ago. "We had a great agency and social workers! As a matter of fact, the day after the adoption was finalized, our state social worker reached out and asked if we could be friends." 😍🌈😊⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As a family, they are avid readers and just started rewatching Gilmore Girls (good choice)! They enjoy traveling to Family Equality's Family Week in the summer, and are so sad that it's canceled this year. 😭😭😭 They also enjoy traveling and spending time with extended family. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ They say that the most surprising about fatherhood so far is how quickly the boys are growing! "The first three months after we got the boys, both as toddlers, were interminable... But it got progressively easier every day. And now suddenly it's been six years since we took placement. How did that happen? They're becoming older boys and closer to the tween stage. What????" 🤭😂😭⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ "I work for Family Equality because discrimination against families like mine is rampant. Had our boys not been born in Washington State, who knows where they'd be today? We had outstanding support at both the state and agency levels. In many states today my family would have been turned away from ever fostering or adopting, despite the great need for homes for foster youth. We can be just as effective and loving parents as anyone out there and it makes my blood boil when I hear stories of people trying to prevent placement in LGBTQ+ homes, due to bigotry. Dziś miał się odbyć kolejny Marsz Równości w Krakowie. Niestety na wspólną zabawę na ulicach musimy jeszcze trochę poczekać, ale namawiamy razem z @queerowymaj - możemy tańczyć, bawić się, być dumni i dumne w domu: 👉🏻 wywieś w oknie, na balkonie 🏳️‍🌈 i zrób 📷, 👉🏻 wrzuć marszowe wspomnienie z Krakowa, 👉🏻 pochwal się marszową stylówą, 👉🏻 wrzuć kilka słów wsparcia dla LGBT. Amelia ma prawie półtora roczku i ma dwie mamy – Ewelinę i Kasię Domańskie, z którymi wywiad publikujemy w najnowszej "Replice". 👩‍👩‍👧❤ . Jeżdżę po Polsce ze znakiem odwiedzając miejscowości, które ogłosiły się wolnymi od „ideologii” LGBT. Na każdym kroku widzę pomniki Jana Pawła II, które zwłaszcza teraz są bardzo wymowne. Zatrzymaliśmy się w gminie Modliborzyce (która nie jest strefą), aby zatankować. Na zdjęciu autorytet przedstawiamy przez wszystkich obrońców i autorów stref wolnych od LGBT. Wypowiedzi Jana Pawła II i jego książka „Pamięć i Tożsamość” stanowią bazę do tego. Papież krytykował m.in. Parlament Europejski, który już za jego pontyfikatu wydawał rezolucje skupiające się na promowaniu równości i szacunku do mniejszości. „Parlament w sposób nieuprawniony nadał walor prawny zachowaniom dewiacyjnym, niezgodnym z zamysłem Bożym: wiemy, że człowiek ulega słabościom, ale Parlament w ten sposób poparł ludzkie słabości. Nie uznano faktu, że prawdziwym prawem człowieka jest zwycięstwo nad samym sobą, które pozwala żyć w zgodzie z prawym sumieniem” – mówił papież. Przy okazji mówienia o tęczowej zarazie na papieża powoływał się abp Jędraszewski, profesor filozofii i znawca filozofii chrześcijańskiej, dorobku filozoficznego kard. Karola Wojtyły oraz nauczania św. Jana Pawła II. Zaraz później na uczestników Marszu Równości w Białymstoku poleciały kamienie. Z szacunkiem podchodzę do przyjaciół i znajomych, także osób LGBT, wśród których są też osoby wierzące, ale to nie oznacza, ze pozostaniemy ślepi na fakty. A fakty są takie, że kościół katolicki systemowo tuszował pedofilie a pedofilów przenosił i przenosi z parafii na parafie. Zmowa milczenia w kościele i sprzyjanie kościołowi przez władze świeckie ułatwiają ten proceder. Kolejnym faktem jest, że homofobiczne nauczanie papieża Polaka służy do ataku na mniejszości w Polsce i na świecie oraz do tworzenia kolejnych stref wolnych od LGBT. Y en tanto publican que después de ser uno de los médicos que superan la infección por coronavirus en España, me proclaman #MrGayWorld 👑 🦠 Parece que el virus me ha dado el super poder de ser el maricón del mundo jajaja.
