Wyświetl ten post na Instagramie. Money was never a thing in our lives because we never had it. When we moved out together at 18 & 20, we had no furniture and rented a tiny room from our friend. We lived off cup of noodles, easy Mac, and cheap fast food. We worked full time at jobs we didn’t like and stuck around until we could afford our own tiny studio apartment. We worked our way up through promotions until we could afford furniture and other things. It took very little to entertain us. All we needed was each other and to this day it’s still true. The one thing that stayed the same through all of this change was the fact that we always put each other and love first. No job or thing was more important than each other. We’re fucking romantics, we love love. We care about each other and other people and care less about material things. We’re so grateful that we grew up with nothing because it made us appreciate everything. Don’t ever let anyone or anything change you. Stay humble. Remember and be proud of where you came from. Work hard and don’t stop. Work late nights on your passion projects, after your day job. Don’t be fooled by glamour, fame or fortune. None of that is as important as being happy just spending time with someone you love on a bench, talking about the stories you want to write, the books you want to draw, your passions and dreams. 12 years later here we are. Still working late nights on our work.
