#jestemlgbt ( = I’m lgbt) is a Polish social media happening to raise awareness about LGBT people. We should post a picture and say something about our life, so others can see us not as an ideology, but as what we are - people. In my previous post I wrote that sometimes I cry, sometimes I laugh at inappropriate jokes, I have a lot of cats and barely any money. I pointed out that I still have a dream of becoming a translator, even though I’m not particularly gifted in languages. If I had to put myself on the scale I’d say I’m nonbinary and pansexual, but I just use the term ‘queer’, because it is the easiest way to describe me. Also, I don’t really like life, because everything sucks. My only source of strength is the Satanic Temple. Three years ago I was completely lost and I desperately needed hope, I needed something to believe in. TST provides me everything and their campaigns for lgbt folks mean the world to me. I can’t afford not being vocal about my identity, because the radical people, the church people, want people like me gone and dead. I’m a queer Satanist and that means #jestemlgbt I give credit where it’s due, so thank you @martyna.a.ostrowska for the photo
