10 years ago on this date we made our relationship official and became boyfriends! Where has time gone?! We were two young men in our early 20's who weren't fully out of the closet to our families. We were worried about how they would react and the response from our high school friends. 👬 After spending some time getting to know eachother, we knew this was the safest way to share the news with our families. We had eachother for support no matter what. Although at the beginning it was tough, both of our parents, siblings and friends embraced our relationship and fully supported our happiness. This was the absolute greatest feeling in the world. Imagine concealing your true identity for 10+ years? A huge weight lifted off our shoulders is an understatement. ♥️ Since that day, we have grown to love ourselves and accept who we are as gay men. This is a lifetime process for many of us who struggle self acceptance. Our relationship has seen highs and lows, but we wouldn't be the men we are today without the ongoing love, support, and devotion for one another. 💍 Here's to another 10 years! 🏳️‍🌈👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨👬 📸: @barbara_rahal
